  3. Education on all levels under graduate school is spiraling downward. My son came home from college (where I pay 28K a year) and informed me that he has to take a high school calc class cause its required. He is no idiot and he informed me that he doesn't even go to class cause its such a joke. Thank god he is a worthy student with a worthy major. Applied Mathematical Economic Theory

  4. That's true. To see if she really is good, see how long she lasts. Connections, family etc will get you in the door. whether you last is up to ther person's ability

  5. Seriously. teachers are chronically the most underpaid professions. how can the profession attract talent when there is so little incentive?

  6. She(Chelsea Clinton) is being paid the right salary. She is very well educated. She was educated overseas in Europe and was sent to one of the best colleges in the world. She is educated in both foreign policy and U.S policy and international policies. 120K a year is the right pay for all her education. I wouldn't doubt it if she goes on to run for president of the United States in about 20 years. She is a very good public speaker. I watched her speak on television in front of an audience of 1000's. She speaks better than her mom and dad. Her voice didn't even shake. she looked like belonged up there. She knows what she is doing. They should pay her more.

  7. I knew a guy at McKinsey who worked literally 15 hours/week and grabbed $350k per annum at 32yo.

  8. I understand the partners at McKinsey at the Director level can make 8 figures. A new partner probably just clears 7 figures. It probably takes 10 years to make partner if you survive the review process.
