hedge funds becoming more like mutual funds

definitely some truth to this..

that has been my conclusion for some time now that most hedges funds will become mutual funds.

 

its 2 lines. says that because they jacked up fees to 2% they dont need to do as well on performance to make out good for themselves.

 

funny thing is that its going to be true the other way around in the near future. mutual funds will set up their own in house hedge funds to stop the bleeding of the talent to HFs

 

For the average of their returns, "hedge funds becoming more like mutual funds"? Probably yes.

For the range of their returns among funds, I wouldn't think so.
