  1. here it is.... bit blurry, but you should be able to see the numbers.

i changed job mid year so have two W2's for last year.... figure includes base, bonus, options\stock.

let see your's then darkhorse.... expecting a full 7 figures given that the figures "would not be close" (unless your full of horses**t).

  2. You made $454 last year? Either that or those black dots are covering over a bit too far.

  4. ehm, ok you win i only made $453 last year...

In actuality, I thought the challenge was referring to trading ability, and my hemisphere comment was referring to this, I couldn't give a squirt of piss what your take home pay is. I was speaking in terms of percentage of return TRADING an equity account over a given period of time. The terms of my challenge in response laid this out, or so I thought, if you go back and read how the thinking went again....

You can't trade, though, because of restrictions of some sort (or at least I gather that's what you said). Or maybe you can't show us what you trade, same difference. It was someone else's idea for you to flash your stub (no pun intended).

I still believe I will make more dough than you in absolute dollar for dollar sense over a given period of time, but that takes into account the fact that my paycheck expands geometrically as my number of investors increases. Some of these fellows want to see a two year track record rather than just six or twelve months, that kind of thing old chap, and so while I am not doing bad now, not bad at all, I will be doing a damn sight better- well more than a country mile better- a year from now. And it only gets better from there.

But I tell you what, my Uncle Jeb did make $455 this year, so if you want I can borrow his W2 and post it up as mine and go "nyea nyea nyea" if that would make u feel better

  5. Yeah that was my next thought metooxx. Looks like we'll have to wait for tomorrow to break out of this range.

You gotta wonder how hard it is to write 2 numbers on a tax form and put a bunch of quarters all over the place to make it look legit.

What the hell is that? I can't see shit. All I see is a 454 and a comma. Why is the rest of it blacked out? And the whole thing is dark as hell. Anyway... we'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you've made 454,000 gross income. That's pretty high. I do know some on ET can match that or come close. I remember one guy named Candletrader saying he made 300K. Don Bright beats that easily. I'm willing to bet Rtharp and Prae2 can match or beat that. Maybe Def can too? Who knows. This is all just a silly game :). Anybody's free to respond to your challenge.

I think the point has been proven. The numbers are close. It doesn't matter where you trade. If you're good, you're good. I define trading as making money in the markets. Anyway possible. Both are impressive numbers.

  10. LOL the debate wasn't really even about money in the first place as much as the correlation between education and trading ability, and as a secondary the disconnect between ego, status and worth
