Do you mean that my calculation is not correct? In that case it would be an attempt to discredit the fund manager. But if the calculation is correct your accusation has no ground. People should know that if they want to go to 19K again from the 6K bottom price should rise by 316%. So this so called 40% recovery is fake and should be based on the same price as the drop.
There is not enough info to make a judgement: 1. What is his average cost? He might have averaged in during 2017 and has a really low average, thus he can be rather comfortable holding it. 2. How big is the fund? If it is only a few millions, well, what is a few millions nowadays? Now if he has 500 mill AUM, that is balls. 3. What is the rest of the fund, that 10% invested in? (just curious) Maybe he is shorting BTC futures.
On top of that there is no hard proof of what he is telling. I can also tell I have a 1 billion $ position in bitcoins.
