    1. Hedge Fund Chief Financial Officer/CFO: Our client, a $5 billion fixed income midtown-based hedge fund, seeks a highly dynamic, team-oriented and efficient Chief Financial Officer to systematically run the firm from a financial perspective. The ideal candidate will have a record of accomplishment in a similar capacity at a similar firm. Overall responsibilities range from, but not limited to: the scouting, recruiting and retention of talent; the ability to monitor trading positions, and converse intelligently with those individuals running money; strategic planning and process evaluation; marketing of the fund, liaising with the legal counsel and systems integrator, among other significant responsibilities. Prior experience as a Senior Controller or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) experience within a hedge fund, proprietary fund, or registered investment advisor (RIA) is required for consideration. Will consider similar experience, and related skill-sets out of broker/dealers and sell-side firms, mutual funds and asset management divisions of large investment banks, or Big 4 Managers/Senior Managers/Directors/first or second-year Partners with Capital Markets client base.     2. Senior Quantitative Analyst: reporting directly to the COO of a multi-billion dollar hedge fund. The role will be to focus on all aspects of trade execution and the use of quantitative techniques to measure and analyze execution performance across a variety of platforms, markets and trading strategies. The job will entail working with the COO to broadly develop a plan for improving the firm's ability to understand its execution costs and continuously improve its execution performance and then implementing that plan. Bottom line: Hard core math background to analyze the pre & post trade analytics; evaluating sell side algorithmic strategies to reduce trade slippage. A PhD/Ph.D is required.
