Heavy Hitters in Pro Firms

  1. I would like to affirm what DB said earlier in this thead. Becoming a successful or even great trader is a fuction of training your mind to act upon opportunities or increasing risks in a timely and consistant manner. It seems the personal developement load is squarely on your sholders. "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink" kind of situation. Winning strategies are offered in books and moderately priced seminars, but it's up to you to muster the intelegence and dicipline to act on them. I doubt a $100K Trainer would or could sustain an inspirational impact on you for any significant length of time. You have to do that for yourself. Good Luck! :)

  2. I agree with you.

Unless that trainer worked with you on a daily basis til you had it down, right? A true training program would have to last for months, until the strategies and methodologies are down pat with the new trader.
