Thanks for posting this db. Hadn't seen this. I live on the north shore of Long Island. There are houses falling down the bluff because each winter the storms cut away at the base of them. In the spring when the soil thaws one can see huge sections of it slide down. If they can't afford very expensive sea walls their houses are being claimed by the seas. The beautiful barrier beach Fire Island, my favorite place in the world, is disappearing. The marshes are being drowned and the dunes eroded away. It's sad.
From the article. points to a significantly slowed-down Gulf Stream That's some scary shit right there. There is a good chance that the worst effects of AGW are not even being considered. That only the most conservative estimates are being promulgated. We don't even know what we don't know yet.
Actually, you and I have discussed this in the past, but it was difficult to get anything going with jem injecting his nonsense. But I won't go into it again; anyone who's interested, which is likely nobody, has only to read my threads on the subject.
No there is no sea level rise because it means government control, taxes and loss of "freedom". Like the right to cheaply drive a Hummer around. I mean, without being to drive a Hummer cheaply where are our freedoms? What's next? Efficiency standards? What if I want to spend more than I should on energy?
Nope. Those are not the quotes. Try again. For one thing they never said "will". So once again you post bullshit.
