I use a 2.4ghz transmitter. You can send audio and video with it but I use it just for audio. You plug the transmitter into your audio out on your soundcard and then hook up the reciever to and old amp and speakers next to your bed. Then all you computer alerts come through to the bedroom. Cost of the unit is about $70. Most audio /video stores sell them. Runningbear
