Wishful thinking, not sure if you thought this through though!!!!!!

It is a shame that America's best days are behind us!!!!!

  3. amen. Sad, indeed.

  4. even with obama's low ratings now, intrade still predicts an Obama win in 2012

  5. It would have to be in 2012 to have a chance.... before the implementing provisions begin in 2014. There would need to be a Repub president, of course, but the Repubs would have to win a TON of Senate seats by 2012.. Likely 60 total seats, maybe a few less if a some Dems would join in.

  6. That WOULD be sad.

  7. btw, the republicans can vote to defund a bunch of the bill and they can repeal pieces of it, if not the whole thing.

At this point, it might be just a game of damage control.

At the very least, we should boot out the Democrats. Not so much because they passed a bad healthcare bill but because they passed a bill to which the overwhelming majority was strongly opposed.

We should sow the what happens when they flout the will of the people they are supposed to represent. They serve US at OUR pleasure, not the other way around.

The next 10 years will see Government shrinking due to weakening revenue.

Illinois just approved a 4 day school week.
Government is starting to go into a big time retreat.
There will be no health care program, it is unaffordable.

  9. Majority doesn't matter... People live and die. Corporations with perpetual charters and deep pockets are who are impacted over the long term.
