Guess they will be upgrading this weekend. Finally!

    ---snip---
Important notice to TradeStation 7.1 users - conversion of futures symbols this weekend, Saturday, June 14, 2003

We are enhancing our Futures data, and as a result, there will be symbology changes that impact all clients who monitor or trade futures. The steps below must be followed by TradeStation 7.1 users in order to prevent problems with your workspaces and data. Steps for TradeStation 6.5 users will be sent tomorrow in a separate message. The Network upgrade to enhance our futures data (by directly connecting to the CME and CBOT for data) is scheduled for this weekend, Saturday, June 14, 2003.

We will begin the upgrade at 3:00 am ET on Saturday, June 14, 2003 and expect to be finished no later than 6:00 pm ET on Sunday, June 15. While the upgrade is being performed, you will not be able to log on and in order to ensure a smooth conversion of your futures data and workspaces, you should not run TradeStation offline.

Therefore, you will need to exit TradeStation before 3:00 am ET on Saturday, June 14, 2003, and restart it when the upgrade is complete. (Note: Once it is restarted, both your data and workspaces will be converted to the new symbology.) You will know that the TradeStation Network upgrade is complete if you are able to log on. If you attempt to restart TradeStation and are not able to log on, exit (do not work offline) and restart at a later time.

Note: If you must use TradeStation while the upgrade is being performed (by working offline), please close TradeStation when you are finished and restart online. Do not work offline and then go online without shutting down TradeStation first.

If you have used or currently use day-only electronic futures symbols (e.g. EMS03.D or @ES.D) in any of your workspaces, Click here to install and run a utility to ensure a smooth transition of the day-only electronic futures symbols to the new symbology. You must run this utility between now and 3:00 am ET on Saturday, June 14, 2003. If you do not use/follow these symbols, you do not need to run this utility.

You must follow the new symbology when adding any new futures symbols/contracts to your workspaces after the upgrade is completed. Click here for a list of the symbol changes and the new building rules.

If you have created an Order Entry Macro using a specific futures symbol, you will need to manually change that symbol in the Macro to the new symbology described above when you restart TradeStation after the upgrade.

    Thank you,
