HDTV Posing as a High End Monitor?

    I was looking at this monitor online. Do you like it? And what's good and bad about it? Looks like it's in the $1000-1200 range. Thanks.

    That sounds right. I was looking at a this 25.5" Samsung which seemed okay.   7. TVs will generally do a better job than monitors when it comes to video, for reasons that will take far too long to explain. Converse is true for "computery" things where the image is generally stable.

    If you mostly need a monitor, get a monitor; if you mostly need a video display, get a TV. Or throw in another video card and get both, there is no technical roadblock to running 3 or even more displays.
