as this stupid issue went on, i was thinking that obama was probably laughing his ass off about it - thankful that people were wasting their time on such a hilariously clueless issue and not focusing on the things that could really harm him (the economy, his socialist agenda, etc).

but at this point, i have to wonder if it isn't causing him more harm than good as more and more clueless individuals (and there is an almost limitless supply) begin to wonder if there isn't something that is out of whack here.

make no mistake, i am not a believer that obama was not born a US citizen. but one can complain that "only the dumb of the country can be fooled by this rumor".

at the end of the day, these "dumb people" still get a vote.

  3. Believe whatever one wishes... until proof is displayed.... proof which the disbelievers and skeptics MUST accept... logically... the issue is still valid and not yet put to bed.

It amazes me that so many people "accept on faith".... EVERYBODY IN THE US should be saying, "show us and we'll shut up... until then, we don't believe you."

Unless, of course, you WANT to believe and want to overlook some discrepancy and accept as fact to support political agenda...

    this is about the constitution...

Trumps mom may not have been american when he was born...

I do not want to see Trump on the ballots without proving he is an NBC.

If the states do not require proof of NBC, we have serious problems in america.

  5. "As the 'birther' controversy reaches a fever pitch, Anderson Cooper 360° launches the definitive investigation of the myth that won’t die: that the President Obama was not born in the United States.
Gary Tuchman travelled to Hawaii .. and what he found will be difficult for some people to accept.

Tune in Monday, April 25, and Tuesday, April 26, beginning at 10pm ET on CNN. We’re Keeping Them Honest."

I will be amazed if they uncover anything new and probative.

I watch anderson's show late night. I have seen him do his little schtick on this, its not very good.

he pretends the 14 amendment defines natural born citizen when it only defines citizen...
and he acts like the document released by the "campaign"on the internet is like having the original b.c. from Obama of HI.

I predict... he will have an a short form issued by HI and claim it is conclusive on the issue of Natural Born Citizen.

Which should make anyone who reads the constitution puke because it will be pretty good evidence of citizen... (not as good as the original b.c from when he was born)... but it would not show he is a natural born citizen... because that definition will eventually be left up to the states' ballot qualifications and then most like the U.S. Supreme court.

  7. Why is he doing this? It is a myth, right?

  8. Jindal's parents were not citizens. Hell they were pregnant with him when they came here. Marc Rubio's parents were cuban exiles and not citizens.

It really needs to be resolved.

  9. My guess is that as a professional journalist, he's doing it for ratings. Kinda of similar to Trump who's doing it for Iowa Caucus and other primary election votes.
