That's what really sucks.........biggest regret of my life....so far I still have time....I can get married and have kids so that they can at least have fun with their grandkids...... I think that would make them proud of me.......
If you got married and have kids, then you can't have that near-death experience anymore, since you need to be healthy to take care of your kids. You might have to pick one or the other. lol
Good points that your wealth is in your children. The old lady may go bat-shit crazy when she hits her forties, but your kids are forever.
-sigh- You touched a nerve with me on that one as I not only have the guts to "pull the trigger" on life altering risk, but have also faced the consequences of failure to less than zero, which included the pleasure of being 'on the stand' getting drilled by attorneys for hours at a time (what a rush and 'I' kicked their asses!). Great failure hurts immensely but the future vision afterwards, at least with me, holds achievements greater than previously conjured. Something so much larger than the former.
