Have the GOP and klannish come up with any solutions to the oil spill?

  1. Beyond blaming Obama for the oil spill (ridiculous of course) have there been any realistic solutions to the current BP problem, and the problem in general of oil spills?

I understand the buck stops with the president, but are there any realistic suggestions for solving the current problem and plugging the leak?

  2. I'd love to hear Sarah Palins suggestions on this

  3. ...or Dick Cheney's suggestions.

No word from Dick in the bunker Cheney about this disaster...

  4. Funny a few weeks ago the head of the GOP(Rush) was saying the spill was no big deal and that the ocean would easily clean itself up.Now he is saying the spill will destroy the US and its Obamas fault

  5. Rush Limbaugh: Oil spill 'as natural as ocean water'

Rush Limbaugh thinks environmentalists probably bombed the Deepwater Horizon oil rig and that the oil spill is nothing to worry about. Don't you feel better?

There have been a lot of really stupid things said about the oil spill that is quickly turning into our nation's worst environmental disaster. Treehugger collected seven of them, rounding out both the bottom AND top of the list was Mr. Limbaugh with his forehead-slappingly inane assertions that environmentalists probably blew up the oil rig to drum up support for the cap-and-trade bill and that the oil gushing out from more than a mile under the surface is "as natural as ocean water is".

No one should be surprised at this. Rush Limbaugh gets paid a lot of money to say stupid things to his stupid audience. You could easily lose a day on the internet trolling through the various lists of the "Top X stupid/racist/ignorant things Rush Limbaugh has said".

My friend Michael over at Treehugger did a pretty bang-up job of ripping apart Rush's ludicrous statement about oil being as natural as ocean water, for all the good that it'll do. Anyone who believes anything that comes out of Rush's mouth probably isn't going to be swayed by, you know, actual facts and figures. Reality has a nasty liberal lean.

It'd be comical if it weren't for the size of Rush's audience. There is a frightening number of people out there right now blustering about how the liberal lefties are using this oil spill to further advance Obama's hidden agenda to enslave your grandparents to run human-powered renewable energy farms.

Or something like that. Scared yet?

  6. Texas Gov. Rick Perry: Oil Spill "Act of God"

First Rush Limbaugh says the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was "natural." Now Texas Gov. Rick Perry is calling it an "act of God" -- a term usually reserved for such natural disasters as hurricanes and tornados.

Speaking at the Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Perry warned against stopping all off-shore drilling as a result of the oil rig blast and spill.

“We don’t know what the event that has allowed for this massive oil to be released,” Perry said on a panel of governors. “And until we know that, I hope we don’t see a knee-jerk reaction across this country that says we’re going to shut down drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, because the cost to this country will be staggering.”
Many liberal and environmental groups are calling for an immediate halt of all off-shore oil drilling. The Obama administration is not going that far. But it is reconsidering its recent decision to expand off-shore drilling in some areas.
Perry said that would be a mistake. “From time to time there are going to be things that occur that are acts of God that cannot be prevented,” Perry said.

Perry and others say more off-shore drilling is necessary to secure the economic future of the nation.

  7. There is NO HUMAN SOLUTION to the oil spill.

This is DIVINE RETRIBUTION to punish modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. Which is the southern G-O-P voter base. The G-O-P voter has taken the Lord's name in vain while engaging in kiddie diddling, incest, spousal battery, lying, killing. You name it. These G-O-P base does it all while mouthing off how pious they are .

God is going to fuck them over in a big way. This spill is not going to be contained for another 8 months. Well into next year. The Hurricane season will be the worst in decades. Watch the rain fall. these states will suffer drought and low crop yields, their main source of income.

The nut-gagging lowlifes on ET are about to get some real pain in their personal lives.

Could not have happened to a nicer group of people.

    lol :D
