If you see two commercials by opposing candidates one will say one thing and then the other candidate will respond saying it's all a lie. Clearly if one candidate says one thing and the other denies it somebody is obviously lying. My question is this: Why are candidates allowed to lie about one another without fear of legal reprisal? Why has it become so acceptable for candidates to lie about one another that nobody bats an eye? A truly sad state of affairs for our once find country.
