I have 33% in HYIPs, 33% in carribean prop firms and 33% invested with Nav Sarao in London( the investment part, not the spoofing...). That way I am sure to never invest more than 1% in nigerians who want to get their money out of the country...
Nevis hasn't been a sponsor here for years and Nonko was never a sponsor here so your comment makes no sense.
Hello, Anyone care to share what happen so someone learn from all the scams out there? Seems like everything is becoming BS with these brokers or vendors. I recently discovered the holy grail to trading is to save my money til if prove something works.
Allright allright, I was just asking because I did read Nevis was a sponsor at one point. No worries... keep up the good job.
Nevis was a sponsor here a while back. The owners also owned JC Trading and both firms and the 2 owners of JC Trading and Nevis Trading were very well known and and extremely solid reputations. Many threads and posts dating 10 years back have been made about Nevis and JC Trading. Im not sure if they are still involved in Nevis Trading. I do know that traders are still waiting to be paid from Nevis Trading.
I am interested as well. A lot of times we read about a prop firm " not paying its traders", but what are the reason the money is trapped there? One trader blew up and the prop firm capital went too low or negative? Regulatory freeze? One partner took the money and flee?
All of the above... - FXCM lost a lot (200m+) on clients that were trading in the Swiss Franc and were caught out. - Refco went under when it was discovered it's CEO had large loans that weren't on the books. - MFGlobal went under when it had a cash shortfall of about 1bln due to their bonds trading during GFC, partly with clients money/leverage. - I know of a small brokerage here in Australia where the bosses took millions out and left the country - Reg freeze could be fatal as well, when they are leveraged and can't make payments due to a freeze in their accounts... - We all know the Lehman saga.... overleveraged and their funds/ETN's didn't have enough capital to fully payout clients. You can have money tied up in bankruptcy court for a while...
And PFG too...This one was nasty and it took one of our finest members Bwol... I know about the large brokerage bankruptcies, but I am more interested in the small props like Tuco, Title...Can somebody explain how they went under?
Please PM if you haven't been paid by Nevis Trading. I am putting something together to help us recover our funds. Chris has not been very helpful and we need to band together. The longer this goes the lower the chance of us getting anything.
