At the Miami Back clinic, they have "suffering"patients do PreHab before surgery.Interestingly ,a decent percentage of patients find the pain reduced to a level where it doesn't require surgery.

Lesson to be learned ..Do not sit all day, move and exercise smart

Larry Bird only lasted 12 years in the NBA because helped somebody shovel snow or something in 1985.

This happened three times to me over the years. Prevention is to be conscious that if you have a load, do not twist at the same time.

The second time it happened probably shortened the length of my workdays forevermore. As a newby in hot yoga I let the instructor challenge me to go too far. Bent over for three days.

The last time it happened, lifting and twisting too much after too many days not exercising. That time, coming back up from tying a shoe could repeat and reinjure. After two or three days someone told me about Kagen water. I found a dealer and got a sample of some extra high PH, drank a glass, and next day felt it all had healed. No more reinjures.

Only? Average carrier length is 4.5 years, just for the record.

But I wonder how Shaq's back is doing nowadays? 19 years jumping with 320 lbs...
