It is just absolutely, positively amazing to get back to Elitetrader( I have been to busy shorting this worthless equity market and hammering the commodities) after several months, to see yet more guillable newbies asking, yet more questions, about some stock scamming dope. Word of advice. There is no easy and quick road to trading $$$$, no software gimick is going to make you rich overnight. You have to buy all the recommended classic books with substantial fundamental and technical knowledge AND READ THEM. After you read the right books and put in enough screen time, then you will not rely on some dopey "software" for entries and exits, YOU WILL RELY ON YOURSELF. Only way to play it correct. However you find that miracle software, let Elitetrader know!!! Hahahaha Ha!
I watched a few of harvey's videos and i'm inclined to think he's in sim mode. The fills don't look real to me.
You're not alone. I and many others have the same suspicions. The guy behind it all, Henry Doyle even wrote a simulation program for traders, so I guess he should know how to trade in sim mode and disguising it to make viewers think he's trading for real. He never shows a screen capture of his entire desktop, only just a very small part...... the part he does show is his stage, where he's plays his character of the Super Successful "Golden Boy" Trader that offers his talents in a booklet for a whopping $147.
Ed gqi tried to warn you... but seriously folks, don't blame harvey, or henry, or whatever his name is...he can't help it..it's in his genes. Harvey is to scamming blokes like a fish is to water.
Most of the S&P traders who run sites are on SIM. In futures, 5% of the traders make money consistently. That 5% is the big banks and hedge funds, and some really skilled individual traders. The chatroom traders make their money from subscribers. They would just lose it back to the market, so why bother. Plus, on SIM it's easier to be profitable, so they keep the room happy.
I've been trading with Harvey in a Hotel lobby last Friday, (me and some others guys) and He makes more money with her MAC laptop (running esignal in a Windows XP session [This is possible since MAC mounts INTEL processors]) Than the money I make with my four screens and five hours of hard work. He is a great trader, but he is not so good teaching regards.
You make me laugh, fool. Either you are Henry himself or just another scammer, marketing that shite he's selling as Harvey Walsh. Trading in a Hotel Lobby? And after that session, you jolly mates rented a room and after the deep anal-ysis of the brown spikes indicators, you all did some jizz trading. Did Harvey give some Candlestick fun as well, bringing you to new highs and lows? Or did you practice the suck-for-a-buck strategy? Or was he saving that for the next imaginary session with his imaginary mates, in a imaginary Hotel lobby. Next time, you and your mates should go to Disneyland and have a session in the magical forest, for a more appropriate fairy tale surroundings.
welsh is a classic sociopath. Pathological lying, deviousness, ..they also have many aliases. I always suspected something about the guy, but until I saw the way he faked his voice I knew for sure. This guy is a real pice of work. When I saw his videos where at most he had a three cent loss, I smelled a rat. everything in his manual is stuff you can get for free, his method is a total lie. I wrote a post on another thread on the tricks he used to try not to give me my money back. There also many inconsitancies between what his ebook says and what his videos show. I suppose if you tell people somethin enough they will believeit very creepy warped and scary looking individual
