  1. Nothing better than the being inside of a "smoke free" Abhrams tank.

No smoking in the military and oh btw here's a clothespin for your nose when we fire the weapons.

2nd hand Marijuana smoke is okay by gosh by golly.

    Now you're talking.

Smoking sections, although better than none, don't really work. That smoke permeates the entire building.

I used to advocate hanging a smoker a week in the town square when they had their own AA rights.

They would always want to smoke in your house, smoke in your car, smoke at your work place, smoke at your table while you are still finishing your meal. Then there are the ash trays. That's like setting a pile of dog crap on the table and saying, you don't mind, do you?

What have you proven here, that under some circumstances an unhealthy environment has to be tolerated? A restaurant is not one of those circumstances.

  4. A guy I met a few years ago who was a vet from the Korean War, he said he was issued cigarettes with all his other supplies. That's where he picked up the addiction.

  5. That's irrelevant, and having eaten my share of c-rats I can see why they were attractive to him. shit when I was out in the field I just ate the coffee packet when it was my turn to be on night guard( who the hell had hot water anyway) and nobody was shooting at me.

Of course now lighting up a cig in combat is probably a pretty stupid thing to do. I was once told by a Captain"The human eye can perceive 1 photon of light, that's equivalent to 1 cigarette 3 miles out"

  7. No one is asking a non smoker to work or patronize a smoking restaurant. Oh yea, what's up with smoking in casinos?

There'll be a sugar tax, just a matter of time.

    Bloomberg is going after "earbuds".

    Everybody is a surgeon general.

  9. This is what happens when everyone is a "deputy". See sumpin say sumpin, kick their ass if necessary. Bus drivers job probably was in jeopardy for letting someone smoke on the bus, no wonder he's angry ..she put his job on the line.
