Talk about "Misinformation". Your source is Zero Hedge - a leading source of misinformation and Russian propaganda. Pretty much nonsense straight from the Kremlin.
LOL. This coming from Zero Hedge -- the Russian propaganda outlet. Why don't you tell us about "free speech" in Russia.
Wrong. You're basing this on two stories from years ago that they innocently sourced from a third party website. There's next to no overlap between ZH and, for example, Sputnik. Seek professional help for your paranoia.
The U.S. government and other governments have stated Zero Hedge is a Russian propaganda outlet. If you want to be taken seriously then don't use sources that spew the Kremlin's latest talking points. So tell us how "free speech" is doing in Russia.
Do you agree with Waltz that misinformation can be a criminal act and if Harris get elected all zerohedge and their families should be put in jail
First that is not what Walz stated. You need to provide his entire statement with context. Deliberate misinformation which puts people's lives in crisis during crisis situations should have criminal consequences IMO. Examples of this include the deliberate misinformation during the recent Hurricane Helene and during the Covid pandemic. Keep in mind that over 230,000 lives were lost in the U.S. due to Covid vaccine misinformation (these deaths were preventable with vaccination) and there were millions more preventable deaths around the world. Covid vaccines saved 20 million lives around the globe in the first year. You are not allowed to shout "Fire" crowded theater in the U.S. -- nor should you be allowed to manufacture and spread fabricated information which puts people's lives in danger. The global internet needs to have associated law extended to a new level -- as technology drives change in reach. Shouting "Fire" in a theater as a terrorist act only impacts the people locally in the theater; now due to technology you can shout the equivalent of "Fire" and cause harm across the globe. Very little can be done to shut down foreign-located Russian propaganda outlets like Zero Hedge -- rarely do we see federal law enforcement seizing these domains. At minimum what needs to be done is to point out regularly that these are Russian propaganda outlets and the misinformation they push cannot be trusted.
