    BOLLOCKS.

You are taking that lie you appear to have swallowed, too far now. Shame.

This is Trump's corruption and why censorship was needed.

I'm going to get my headphones later and listen to it again.

I took it that she implied Congress, Senate and House should have prepared for Trump's attack and they were caught out.

"John Stolnis, spokesperson for the U.S. Capitol Police, told USA TODAY that oversight is complex.

"The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is overseen by the Capitol Police Board and has Congressional oversight by appropriations and authorizing committees from the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate," Stolnis wrote in an email.

Panels that oversee USCP are the House and Senate committees on Appropriations, the Subcommittee on the Legislative Branch; the Committee on House Administration and the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration.

Sens. Jack Reed, D-R.I. and Mike Braun, R-Ind., are chairperson and ranking member on the Senate side.

House authorizing committee chairman and ranking member are Reps. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., and Rodney Davis, R-Ill. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and Roy Blunt, R-Mo., are chairperson and ranking member of the Senate committee. "

As you can see it was not Pelosi's personal role. The Capitol Police and the relevant people were not prepared for an attack launched by the President.

They didn't see the MAGA rally going south.

Pelosi was talking in general terms of the Congress and it's mechanisms.

If Pelosi would have accepted the 10,000 troops it would have been worked out down the chain. She didn't because she thought the 'optics' would be bad.

If the Capitol Police and their oversight which wasn't Pelosi.

Where do you see Mitch's role? Or do you think Congress is another word for the House alone?

Think man. You are boring me.

Stop shoveling bullshiat. Maybe you should use simple fact-checking to stop embarrassing yourself.

Pelosi did not block the National Guard from the Capitol on Jan. 6

FACT FOCUS: Trump’s misleading claims about the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol

    NATIONAL GUARD RESPONSE
CLAIM: Trump said he offered 10,000 National Guard troops to Pelosi and “she now admits that she turned it down.” Referring to a video Pelosi’s daughter took that day, Trump claimed that Pelosi said, “I take full responsibility for January 6.”

THE FACTS: Trump has repeatedly and falsely claimed that he offered National Guard troops to the Capitol and that his offer was rejected. He has previously said he signed an order for 20,000 troops to go to the Capitol.

FACT CHECK: Trump’s claim Pelosi turned down his offer to send National Guard members on Jan. 6, 2021

Former President Donald Trump falsely claimed that then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “turned down” his offer to send “10,000 soldiers or National Guard” to the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Pelosi does not direct the National Guard. Further, as the Capitol came under attack, she and then-Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell called for military assistance, including from the National Guard.

The Capitol Police Board decides on whether to call National Guard troops to the Capitol. It is made up of the House Sergeant at Arms, the Senate Sergeant at Arms and the Architect of the Capitol. The board decided not to call the guard ahead of the insurrection but did eventually request assistance after the rioting had already begun, and the troops arrived several hours later.

There is no evidence that either Pelosi or McConnell directed the security officials not to call the guard beforehand.
