Harris had 14.1 million fewer votes than Biden in 2020

2020 was totally rigged. It is obvious. Deniers will deny but thinking people could make the only conclusion. This time, Lara made a great job and Ilon paid for it. Let's hope that Republicans never forget 2020 lesson.

  3. Lot of news stories on people simply not happy with the choice presented and not voting...

2016 set a record which was broken in 2020... these were unique elections...lot of frustrated voters in 2024 simply stayed home....

Also with COVID a lot of people voted by mail who who would not have voted if they had to go stand in line. Seing how easy it was to vote by mail more people did it. COVID restrictions had a big effect.

People easily or intentionally forget that 2020 was a Pandemic with most people sitting at home...not working or with a lot more free time than usual. There were also more protests and riots leading up to the 2020 Presidential election...inspiring people to get out and vote while enjoying being outside after being stuck in the house all day.

Simply, an unusual number of voters were being inspired by events involving the Pandemic where more people were turned off by the political crap here in 2024 that could not inspire them to get out and vote.

Fast forward to 2024, more people are employed and a lot busier than 2020. More people not inspired to vote... fewer protests and fewer riots = Fewer voters (more people not voting) even though the media stated earlier that there were a "record number" of voters and long lines here in 2024.

Just as importantly, more people here in 2024 didn't like Biden/Trump and didn't know Harris. Simply, more people had better things to do thing America's politics.

Only a conspiracy theorist and election denier will not understand the above after they compare the differences between 2020 to 2024.

I think your reasoning here is correct but with a good economy more people should have voted for the Democrats. I think ultimately Harris was not a good candidate. She lost to 10 candidates in 2020 during the Primaries.

Ultimately having no real Primary in 2024 doomed he Democrats. I mean It's Her Turn is not a viable alternative to an actual competition. Just look at what that brought in 2016.

  7. Biden promised a lot of progressive, socialist, social justice, free shit policies that got a lot of non and low propensity voters to go vote for him.Biden didn't keep any of those promises so they didn't come out and vote for him/Democrats again.

I knew something was odd with the polls when most said it's going to be a very close political race, the winner should win a swing state by thousands of votes, along with the talking heads here in the political threads preaching the same...very close race.

Then on election day...videos on TV of short lines or if there was a long line...the line was efficiently moving fast through the polling station...

Next, the media begin to say "record numbers of voters" surpassing 2020 numbers. In contrast, I remember 2020 a lot differently, those long lines were several blocks long, and many people had brought their picnic chairs/lawn chairs to sit on in the lines so that they would not get too tired while waiting in those long lines...

That told me the media was painting an inaccurate picture of the so-called record number of voters in the 2024 Presidential Election. It also told me...the vote count was going to be millions LESS than in 2020... which favors a Republican victory.

The one thing the media was right about was their explanation about why 2020 was a record-breaking year for the numbers of voters...the Pandemic and highly emotional voters with nothing else to do but vote.

Also, both political candidates did the same. Both say this will be an election year like no other with more consequences than any election year. Just as bad, I remember celebrities endorsing Trump and celebrities endorsing Harris...

The media would talk about the celebrities inspiring record numbers of voter registrations. I myself posted about two celebrities inspiring record numbers of voter registrations within the first few hours of their endorsement...

The next day, the media would hype those record number of voter registrations as their most trending topic. Strangely, 24 hours later...the celebrity endorsement was no longer news.

Remember the RNC and DNC...many predictions of riots and mass protestors. ET's talking heads made a few threads that each city (Milwaukee and Chicago) would burn down. That didn't happen too.

I flew to the States (OHare) a few days before the RNC in Milwaukee. Yes, I saw an unusual number of travelers wearing cowboy hats, MAGA hats...long lines but calm. Lack of excitement and many didn't seem like they were going anywhere special. I do not have a personal experience with OHare during the DNC in Chicago but my sister said the freeways were not unusually crowded and traffic seemed normal in the downtown Chicago area when she went to work except for one day when there was a car accident on Lake Shore Drive (near the McCormick center).

Simply, lots of hype but voters not only stayed home here in 2024...they just didn't like both candidates, or voters had better things to do.

  9. Way more people were turned off by the democrats and having Harris forced on them and either voted 3rd party or stayed home. People point to the groups that switched over or changed support but the voters that simply stayed away added to the Dem disaster. They didnt learn from 2016 and got "lucky" covid made people switch from trump....but showing up in 2024 with the same bullshit was never going to work.

I don't think she polled better than Biden with any group compared to 2020.
