Majority no. Minority yes. You won't find the edge in books. You would have to find your edge, or lease it if someone wants to lease it to you.
Successful _________ seems pretty difficult. You can fill in that blank with option trading, stock trading, bond investing, futures trading, forex trading, etc... If it were easy we would all make money in it and the returns would not be worth it. LIke anything worth doing, it requires skill, hard work, discipline, study, experience, etc..
