A Jewish girl that my youngest daughter goes to school with invited our family for Rosh Hashanah dinner. Should be interesting.
I'm under strict orders from my wife and daughters to "eat everything, smile and be pleasant." When I briefly spoke to my daughter's friend's father, our host for the evening, he asked me if I was allergic to any foods. I said, "shellfish." He laughed. I had to do a little research to figure out why that was so funny. Actually, it's quite funny.
