Traders should welcome holidays. Time off from the markets to mentally rest, travel (3 day weekends), spend more time with the love ones, catch up on personal errands, fix computer or software problems or anything else people do on holidays. Holidays are good. I wish there were holidays (markets not open) every month of the year. If your a successful trader...holidays aren't going to hurt your bottom line. If your not a successful trader...holidays means that's one less losing trading day. What did I do on MLK day? Sleep 10 hrs (I normally sleep 7 hrs), cross country skiing, play with the new digital camera, talk to some friends whom I haven't talked to in a long time and bought some new CD's (listening to them right now). Holidays are good, so we as traders should take advantage of them to re-energize. NihabaAshi
