Kwanzaa doesn't begin until December 26th (lasting through January 1st). The holiday offically celebrated today (December 23rd) is Festivus.

I do believe you're getting a hang of this dog-whistle stuff. As the good doctor has so aptly demonstrated, a few well-chosen words can often take the place of freshly starched white sheets.

 

I personally know several Blacks who don't give a damn about Kwanzaa. "Ironic" how our right-wing Malaysian has no problem making blanket assumptions about other races.

Now if he'd said "Merry Christmas, President Obama", nobody would have thought anything about it. Obama is a professed Christian. But he went straight for the Kwanzaa card.
