    Harry Belafonte
    Roger Daltrey
    Justin Bieber

Glenn Miller died when his plane vanished over The English Channel on the way to France in 1944 to perform for the troops. In just four years (1939-1943) he scored 23 No.1 hits.

Yea, strange that she started off as a drummer. Lots of guys back then fell in love with her voice (myself included). American Idol has nothing on her. One of the most recognizable and beloved voices in history. Rip Karen Carpenter.

Above (3/10) I said Rick Rubin was arguably the greatest record producers of all time...I was wrong.
Born in Chicago 85 years ago today and still working....
    Quincy Jones.
The man is a music legend. The list of artists he's worked worked with is astonishing. Rock, Soul, Country, Hip-Hop.
Among his many accomplishments is Michael Jackson's "Thriller".... the number one selling album of all time.
Below is one of his projects. Pulling it off was said to be impossible but he did it. :

    ......Mr Jerry Reed.
A Nashville great. God love him.
This one spent 16 weeks atop the country charts.
As country songs go.... this is a great one.
