China to Raise Limit on QFII Quotas to $1 Billion

As of August, 87 qualified foreign institutional investors including UBS AG and Morgan Stanley were permitted to invest a combined $15 billion in local-currency stocks and bonds.

“We have raised the limit for each fund to $1 billion within the current total $30 billion size of all funds to encourage more good investors to come in,” said Chu Yumei, deputy head of the capital account department at the regulator. “We’ll grant new quota under the existing total limit.”

QFII is far from a decisive force in the Chinese stock market, and 800 million or one billion what big difference .Anyway big accounts got an excuse for their desperate move today.

Actually no way to predict either of the three markets, a stoploss is compulsory.

  9. Since when does a brass ball trader need a stop ?

Tade entry and trade exit depend on Risk / Reward. Of course I have placed a stop, but I will not tell you where...:)

    I can tell you that I never have a R/R = 1 ;=)

Would you consider adding to your short position should the Hang Seng open gap up in just over an hour?
