  1. It's my firm belief you are not 14, but that's public knowledge now.

  2. Believe what you wish, trust me I've heard it multiple times over...

If you guys want more proof you can check out my television appearance here: http://www.citytv.com/toronto/cityn...90--budding-stock-market-guru-is-14-years-old

I have the same passion as any other kid, except my passion is in something different than the average child. Some kids want to be in the NHL, well I want to be a trader in Goldman Sachs... whats the difference?

  4. Good luck! I also trade the HSI but I only take one trade a day. Sitting in front of the desk and trying to scalp a few ticks a dozen times is too exhausting for an old dude like me.

Do you have particular setups you trade or is it just based on "feel"?

BTW, why would you want to waste your time trading for GS? If you end up being a good trader, you should just trade for yourself.

Also, the big money is in fund management not trading. Instead of scalping, you should be learning how to trade for longer durations, and how to manage larger amounts of money. Also get your CFA, MBA, PhD in finance, etc, so that you have the credentials to get people to invest hundreds of millions or billions with you, and then taking 2 + 20 on that money. This is how the real wealth is generated, not through trading. John Paulson made over $5 billion last year alone. No trader will be able to trade that amount cleanly.

If you want inspiration, go bit torrent Wall Street Warriors, seasons 1 and 2.

  6. I watched the first video, that was pretty cool, I feel like we have a minor celebrity on our hands, and much more tasteful than Timothy Sykes. I got a chuckle when that old dude told you the stock market isn't a casino. Instead of telling him "I absolutely agree," you should have told him "You're right idiot, I'm the F-ing casino, and the market is my best paying customer."

Oh yea, and your mom is pretty hot. I'm married to a beautiful woman myself, so I think I'm qualified to make that call. Two thumbs up to your dad.

Anyway, how did your night go? Keep the journal alive bro. I made 4 trades tonight... 2 HHI, 2 MHI, made $300 USD. Could have been a lot better, could have been worse. There's a good chance we grind around for the rest of the morning session, so I'm going to pack it in and spend some -quality- time with the wife. Good trading to you.

  9. HAHAHAHA thanks you just made my day XD

I actually didn't trade last night, and I won't be today either as I am preparing for my March break which starts tomorrow and goes into next week.

I'll be trading anything that moves and we'll see how it goes.

I'll be trading US futures as it will fit my time zone as I am home from school. However when school starts up again, back to the HSI.

So we'll see how next week goes. Should be volatile as the US stock markets have entered IMO a correction.

  10. Looks like today was a good day to stay home and trade! The earthquake in Japan seems to be creating some monster volatility.

As a trader I look up to, told me before:

"The best traders go big and active when opportunity is greatest and do very little when the trade offers less, ... all the while balancing risk with the opportunity at hand."
