"Does Israel's response to the October 7 attacks prove everything that the Palestinian resistance has been telling us all along?
    Indeed it is. Absolutely!

Here are some of the things the “heroes of the resistance” say:

    1. Salah al Aruri himself, Hamas second in command hiding in Lebanon (now killed) said: “I admire a people who will exchange 1,000 arab prisoners for one of their soldiers”
    2. Israel does not torture their arab muslim prisoners.
    3. Arab terror prisoners get two square meals a day
    4. Arab terrorists can watch TV in a commubsl area at stated time of evening
    5. Israel lets some arab muslim prisoners study for PhDs while in captivity
    6. Arab muslim terrorists have full AND IMMEDIATE access to the best Israeli medical attention when required. After all Sinwar was treated for cancer ( a brain tumour…) in Israeli prison…..
    7. Unlike the “heroes of the resistance”, the Israelis do not shoot their prisoners and leave their bodies to rot in tunnels
    8. The Israelis do not sexually assault their female prisoners or deny ill prisoners medication as appropriate
    9. It is true that arab muslim terror prisoners in Judea are allowed family visits at the discretion of the prison commander
    10. The Israelis do not shoot arabs from neighbouring arab villages who pass through checkpoints into Israel and do not lynch or physically tear arabs limb from limb (literally) if they stray into Israel illegally. They mean like the 2 Israeli reservists who were literally butchered alive in Ramallah in 2000 because they took a wrong turn into the town "

However, Hamas leaders have admitted to taking advantage of the fact that the U.N. and others care for the civilians to build a vast tunnel network beneath the enclave. In a recent interview, Qatari-based Hamas leader Moussa Abu Marzouk said the reason Hamas built no bomb shelters for Gaza’s population — only tunnels for Hamas fighters to hide and fight — was because it was the U.N.’s responsibility to "protect" the majority of Gaza’s population.

    "jOIN OR STARVE
If I was a Palestinian in Gaza, I would likely join Hamas. It has nothing to do with ideology or anything, but survival.

    Food distribution in Gaza

Hamas is an organized crime ring, with religious ideology and a nihilistic agenda yes, but it is an organized crime ring first, everything else second. The way they control Gaza is straightforward, they seize whatever shipment comes in and distribute it among Gazans in exchange for their support. You have a choice of either going hungry or kowtow to Hamas and do what they say.

Right now reports abound of a famine in Gaza. Hamas members don’t go hungry, the organization has a stockpile of food for the crisis and their foot so eat enough, not well perhaps, it’s probably mostly cans and such, but enough. Ordinary Gazans suffer, because they’re the ammunition Hamas uses in the war to garnish more aid they can then sieze and use for their own needs.

In this situation you have two options, suffer and go hungry and probably die, or join Hamas for a less miserable life. I don’t know if I would join Hamas, but I would seriously consider it for a lack of better options. A good deal of support for Hamas is really this, people not having a better option, prisoner’s dilemma at its finest.

Anyone that genuinely cares about Gazans wishes to see leaders of Hamas arrested and brought to Israel to stand trial. Only a complete destruction of the organization, a deprogramming of everyone who genuinely supports them, is a prerequisite for Gaza to be anything more than a prison-city on the Mediterranean."

nice of you to virtue signal without reminding us why Gaza is without opportunity, without self determination, control of their borders, food production or importing of seed, imports or exports to have an industrious citizenry, possibility to pump their own water or produce electricity, and on and on. Remind us how Cuba, Venezuela, or N.Korea are doing under similar conditions?

Cute of GWB to like your post after slandering all citizens of Gaza as guilty of being terrorists.

So which is it, are they victims or victimizers? Need deprogramming through bombing or opportunity?
