I think all of your articles - which reference the exact same Twitter claim - are dubious at best. A social media platform that leans heavily to the left - and has proven this many times - is claiming something that news organizations are picking up and trumpeting as gospel. What they are claiming is possible, perhaps even probable. But more likely it is only half the story and the same bots are doing the exact same thing on the left as they are on the right through other accounts linked to Obama, Clinton, etc. because their sole purpose is to sow discord not to elevate Trump. Not that Twitter would ever talk about that. Resist, right? But because you are so hyper partisan (you are) you only believe that part which is shoveled to you daily in your morning spoon feed.
It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. I think the social media monopolists may be sowing the seeds of their own destruction. It is just so clear, even to casual users, that twitter, Google, FB, Youtube et al, are extremely biased and untrustworthy. They started by targeting controversial figures, eg Alex Jones, but now are going after pretty much anyone who posts something slightly right of center. Twitter even suspended Mitch McConnell's campaign account, which probably should get them hauled before the FEC. Google clearly is fiddling with search results to make them fit their far left, PC narrative. There are obvious ways to demonstrate this, and it has been done many times. You do not have to go through the extensive analysis this Dr. Epstein did to prove it either. If the results are biased or inaccurate, then the usefulness of the product declines dramatically and users will begin to look for alternatives. In the case of Google, there are some very acceptable alternatives, eg Duck Duck Go, which also claims to offer much enhanced privacy.
Sure thing, cupcake. My takeaway from your narrative is that Right wingers are not collectively quite smart enough to create their own social media app to perpetuate their drivel.
