Don't care. Would rather vote for a third party candidate or not vote altogether than for this bonehead who has reneged on promises.

  3. How so? The only thing they currently have on Trump is he fucked a porn star. Even if he is impeached for porn star fucking, they'll never have the votes to remove him from office. Russia collusion is a fantasy that will never be proved, only alleged, and that's the only thing which would garner enough votes to actually remove a sitting president.

  4. Of course, it's a protest vote, but the point is a third party has little to no chance in 2020, and a leftist president is likely unless the republicans mount a credible opposition to Trump.

  5. I am beginning to believe Trump will not run for reelection. Unless he is totally delusional, he can't actually believe he can make a mockery of the central campaign promises he won on and still expect people to vote for him. No doubt he has been assured by establishment republicans that he can just lie to voters like they do and get away with it. We'll see how that works out for all of them.

  6. The frustrating thing is that Trump's win gave the republicans a massive opportunity to reorient the party in the populist/nationalist direction that he pioneered. Doing so was their only hope of avoiding the demographic wave democrats have been gloating over. Instead, we got tax cuts for big business and a massive increase in government, particularly military, spending.

And, instead of staying out of stupid wars and interventions, we are getting more. We're not getting a wall, that is pretty obvious. Republicans are desperate to sell us out on gun rights as well but are trying to find a way to sugar coat it.

The republican party is split, with Trump voters on one side and establishment, big business check-writers on the other. There will be no better time to launch a third party. If based on populist nationalism, it would quickly relegate the republicans to third place.

Collusion, obstruction, mispropriation of campaign funds, receiving campaign contributions without reporting, intimidation, perjury, tax fraud, deemed not fit for office, renouncing the presidency, etc...

Maybe, but I'm beginning to believe he's just that delusional.

  10. To date, nothing but allegations. Year and a half in and nothing of substance produced. Yeah, I know these things take time. Overthrowing a legitimately elected president usually does.
