you are talking off topic. Look at Amazon's historical share price development. Your feelings/emotions/hunches whether the market is in a bubble or not are completely irrelevant to Amazon's business model and operations. Let's not get sidetracked, this is about one of the most successful and steadfast entrepreneurs in the entire American history looking to expand into a new segment after he turned the company from an unprofitable one and one most people never believed in to one of the largest corporations in America. A guy with low profile, who never showed off, never talked BS, never engaged in accounting shenanigans, never sold out, never bullied the government, never played cities or states against each other.

you are completely ignorant. I don't have any feeling about AMZN as I don't touch and don't trade bubbles. And this discussion is about their share price
but do you know who is the owner of the Washington Post?
then go to their web site and read what BS they post there every day
that's enough for me to not have any respect to the owner

this is not about the share price but about the company and company strategy. I am saying this because you continue to miss the boat. It is hard to make sense of corporate strategy when you do not know nor understand those who steer the company. This is not about shareholders, it never has been for Jeff Bezos. Most shareholders vehemently objected when Bezos decided to get into cloud storage and computing yet he still did. Most shareholders do not like that Elon Musk is "wasting" precious time and funds on space exploration. Yet they do what they believe they must do.

Listen, I have no inclination to fight with anyone. Let's agree to disagree.

This is a great play by Amazon. The synergies/value add it creates ar enormous.
Amazon a bubble? That's funny. Stay away from the stock market, you will lose a lot of money.

So now the truth slips out. You don't like the political bent of a newspaper owned by Bezos, so Amazon is a worthless "bubble" company. Serious loss of perspective my friend, when you let your disagreement about the personal politics of an individual in a company bleed into your entire perception of that company is when you start losing money in this business! You know smart, well meaning people can disagree on politics and still be friends? And even invest in companies led by people with different political views? Shocking, I know.

This is on a complete diatribe. First AMZN, then a digression to the Washington Post. Then there is the ambiguous comment about the owner. Owner of WP or AMZN?

And who cares about the WP anyway in a AMZN thread. There is a section politics. Move it there.

    Honestly, it's all interconnected

AMZN CEO took sides in politics

don't you think it will have zero impact down the road on AMZN share price?
Anyway it was just a reply to an ignorant poster who said Bezos never bullied the government

So it took you to become profitable 8 years
during those times you lost 20K
so likely you account can't buy 100 AMZN shares
and now after 8 years you gamble with cryptocurrencies
and you give advises about not losing money? LOL

What kind of totalitarian universe do you live in when a CEO is "bullying" the government by owning a newspaper that points out disfunction and irrational behavior by members of that government? Aren't you in the anti-snowflakes party, cause that sounds pretty flakey?

Once again, you do understand that here in the United States, at least for a while longer, people get to have differences of opinion in politics? They can own newspapers? They can disagree with what your dear leader is doing? And they can even be friends with people whome they disagree with politically? It's this freedom of the press thing we've got, you know that whole pesky first amendment thing?

The kind of people that would stop buying things at Amazon because Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post are scary people indeed. If I was Bezos I'd rather not count that type of person as one of my customers!

I work closely with 6 others who are Amazon Prime members. We can't believe this incredible retail service. But, not one uses the Prime pantry.
I'm afraid the dog next door will shred the box and git my roast as it sits in the summer heat on the front step.
I would prefer if a drone intercepts my vehicle and sets it on the roof top Amazon drop box close to home.

And I see you a huge Bezos fun and a snowflake
What Washington Post does is a disgrace. It's fake news outlet
fake news is not a different opinion
by the way I'm not fan of anything - Trump, Hillary or whaever exists in this world, I don't vote and only thing I care is my family
I don't hold any political view
What I do is just for profit.
those are just my observations in reply into ignorant post of yours
