It is kind of irrelevant. Exit scams were big on darknet markets and was done by sometimes established sellers. As long as the online entity is holding a large amount of BTCs, they have an incentive to just take off and claim they have been hacked. Would you know the difference? They say no matter what coin you buy it should be transferred from the exchange to the wallet for added security....not for nothing buying and selling these coins isnt easy.....people who don't know stocks tell me how confusing it is to buy a stock, now how can these regular Joe shmoos who have accounts on these cryptocurrency exchanges know all about the wallet and where to place the coin and etc etc etc....if you want to buy this alt coin you need to buy it with Bitcoin blah blah. Let me tell you it's not simple as others might make it sound.....
