  2. Perkins was not the leaker. Another director admitted it after he was confronted with the results of the investigation. He refused Dunn's demand that he resign and apparently is still on the Board.

  3. I'm trying my best to stay off this thread because of my wife's lifelong friendship with Patty and Bill Dunn....but....(like AAA, it's hard to keep things back at times, LOL )....

Obviously the sex matter is silly...the Corporate governance by our male CEO's has been pretty bad over the years, don't you think?

Obvioulsy we're following it...and I've stopped trading HPQ for now (as I do with any "newsie" type stock.) Something is just not adding up in my mind yet...the guy who "leaked" wasn't asked to resign, but his pal reisgned as a protest...that seems a bid odd, perhaps another "shoe will fall" with this guy.

(My wife was just proud that Patty was thought of as one of the top femail chair's in Country, LOL).

    Back to work, gossip later..

No word on HP chairwoman's fate

SAN FRANCISCO - Hewlett-Packard Co.'s board of directors adjourned an emergency phone conference Sunday without announcing a decision on the fate of embattled Chairwoman Patricia Dunn, who is facing calls to resign or be fired for her role in an internal investigation that may have used illegal means to spy on colleagues and journalists.

The board was scheduled to meet again Monday, according to HP, a major maker of computers and printers. <more at url>

My theory is the lady gets bent over and the chart starts to stabilize.

When Helmut and his gang are done putting the pain on her, that might as well be the right chart. :D

  9. (personal opinion only, nothing to do with Bright Trading or any of its' affiliates).

I think that when Patty and crew 'ousted' Carly that the stock was in the low $20's. It's now holding $36 (18 months or so). Methinks that's a pretty good move, regardless of the who the chairperson is. Shareholders tend to vote for $$profits most of the time.

  10. I would agree with you Don except there is now a criminal investigation. That will supercede the wishes of the board and shareholders. I think this is big trouble.
