  1. Yes, Alfonso is right.

It is a movement started by some crazy Frenchman called Rael who claims that on the 13th of December 1973 he was contacted by a visitor from another planet, and he was asked to establish an Embassy to welcome these people back to Earth.

The claim is that they crreated mankind by manipulating DNA.

The extra-terrestrial was about four feet in height, had long dark hair, almond shaped eyes, olive skin and exuded harmony and humour.

If you really want to know some more I suggest you go to http://www.rael.org/english/index.html

I believe Henry has some connection with that organisation. I suspect that he is an honorary member.

  2. I once made an excursion in religious forum but not for one day for 3 months just to really learn about the sects. I didn't attack them I wanted to speak with them so to understand them as thouroughly as possible or rather the phenomena. So whereas the others were attacking them, I asked them questions. And there were 4 and the chief was really some kind of nazi although I avoid to be confronted with his ideas because it would end any discussion. Another one was much more intelligent in fact he was even a specialist in Artificial Intelligence. So we "sympathise" or rather we could have a normal conversation because I never sympathise really with people from sects :D. I asked him the first question: why did you enter such a sect ? He told me that he throught during 15 YEARS before entering there :D. Gee it was not a compulsive decision then. And so I asked him "what's the motivation ?". he replied that he was asking himself many questions, that he read many paranormal and science-fiction books and that conducted him to believe the sect has an answer to his question. I told him that I too has been questioning myself that for having studying genetics at high level I know perfectly that even today advanced genetics cannot answer the ultimate question of life, and even cannot answer about the probability of having the simplest virus with only an ARN of 40 bases (so a virus has not even an ADN it is at the frontier of life organism ). But it is not a reason to enter a sect ! Science has never answered evry question at a time and answer sometimes very far after so one must be patient. I also asked him pernicious questions like: aren't you afraid that the guru just created the sect for money ? I was expecting that he could get somehow angry about such a question but I was pleasantly surprised by his tolerance and his reply: yes but he goes away with the money some members will try to kill him :D.

Then since he thought I have some curiosity for the sect he invited me to join them at a meeting. That's when I decided to stop the experience and declined the invitation: I knew enough :D.

So people are looking for spiritual answers and when science can't give them they are about to accept sometimes any substitute. I don't mean that there are not true paranormal phenomenas because I encountered people who I know enough personnaly to have experienced such phenomenas, I mean that some organisations are abusing people search and offer them nothing else than opium thinking. Also there can be hidden motivations. For example he learned me that members sometimes gather in nature ... nuded :D. I wondered if was not the secret reason he chosed this sect :).

  3. Henry your amnesia has cut in again and the lesson I recently taught you about breaking your posts up into several smaller paragraphs seems already to have been forgotten again.

Seriously, for heaven's sake go and see a physicist (or should that read 'go and see a physician' ? :D )

  5. Or perhaps he should consult with a Psychophysicitician.

Preferably one that does a little editing on the side.

  8. I used the word Astrophysicist when I talked about chosing my career in a very old post. You pretend that this word is not english then tell me why it is used by Astrophysicians or Astrophysicists as you like from University of Marwik huh :D:D:D:D

"<B>Astrophysi<FONTCOLOR=RED>cists</FONT></B> at the University of Warwick have applied data analysis methods used to model stock market fluctuations, to explore changes in the solar wind (the sun's expanding atmosphere). They have discovered that the fluctuations in the solar wind follow the same kinds of patterns seen in the stock markets – particularly when it comes to the number of extreme events or large fluctuations. Freeeaaaaaalwwwwaaaayyysssss once again you turn to be more ridiculous each time you try to demonstrate that it is me who is wrong :). And all you find as argument is to exploit my english as a foreigner. But it seems that although I recognise my english must be as worst as your french at least, I learned you two new terms: <B>astrophysicists and econophysicians</B> :D.

I have put you in your my ignore list and you persist so don't blame for the punishment of God (?) since you looked for it :D
