The old saying is: When women are single they are looking for security in a man. After marriage they are looking for romance. Just the opposite of what most guys think.
I went into marriage thinking I loved my wife and I would try to share all the burdens. That was stupid. Things need to be divided closer to traditional lines. Your wife will be happier.
