Guy at the gun store called my savage .22 a toy when I picked it up. Unfortunately for this bobcat, who was attempting to murder my chickens, I wasn't playing around.
Well toys like .22 are ok for killing sparrows and wild stray cats in the backyard, but a .222 would be my choice and even for rabbits, however the ammo expense does rise.
Heard the same about .17 HMR, but cheapo .22 works fine for the little rascals out here. One day when I learn to hold my winnerz, I will be able to afford the designer ammo. Always wanted a 10mm long barrel 1911... for no reason.
