I can't find this story on any national news sites. Apparently only the AJC is carrying it. Can anybody else find an AP story on this?
The "main stream" media hates the idea that responsible gun owners use their firearms to protect themselves. This kind of story happens everyday all over the country and almost never is reported outside of local media. It they started doing their jobs reporting these stories then the anti 2nd amendment crowd would start to wonder why they oppose private gun ownership. We can't have that now can we. Well then let's hear you say it: Blacks have a 7 times higher gun murder rate with the availability of firearms the same as for american whites. The only conclusion that you can draw is that blacks are less civilized. You are forced to that conclusion IF you accept that Harvard twat's conclusion. Let's see if you are honest, and if you try and weasal around and create some excluded middle ground, then you destroy his argument.
I can only find two other news outlets covering this story, one is a local Fox affiliate in GA and the other is the Daily Mail. Right now, this is a story worthy of national news coverage. I have never in my life heard a more robust gun control debate than right now, and yes I remember the '94 mid terms when Dems were kicked out of Congress.
