You just don't get it. Access is already there, regardless of what restrictions you want in place. Until you correct that, no laws you make will matter.

People don't go down with just one bullet very often. Especially when they are motivated and invading your house. But I suspect you know this and were just having fun with dopey.

I hope the victims of all the senseless murders that occur daily across the country in violent cities find comfort in the fact that liberals want to put laws in place that will have no positive effect at all on the murder rate. In fact, evidence shows it will get worse.

Spoken from someone with zero knowledge on firearms. All you'll do is drive up the street price and create a black market of imported ak47s. Not to mention there are a hundred alternatives to that.

No, point wasn't made. Not even close. I just refuted why this isn't even remotely an equal comparison.

Yes... I was using it as a "humorous' example of why someone would need a magazine with 9 bullets. It would be a bitch to have to shoot all the thugs with a single shot & reload each time.

This may be a good time to advise the homeowner to buy higher capacity magazines or multiple magazines to deal with home invaders.

Man Kills Waffle House Worker Over Smoking Ban, Cops Say
In 2013, a gun went off in one of the chain's restaurants in Biloxi, Mississippi.

A Waffle House employee in Mississippi was shot dead after she asked a customer to stop smoking in the restaurant, police said.

Johnny Max Mount, 45, was allegedly smoking in a Biloxi Waffle House when the 52-year-old employee asked him to put it out, according to the Sun Herald. Mount is accused of refusing and instead removing a 9mm handgun hidden under his shirt, WMC reports. Police allege he shot the woman, who has not yet been identified, once in the head early Friday morning. She was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

In 2013, a gun went off in a Biloxi Waffle House and shattered a window in the restaurant. Customers managed to subdue suspect Sam Edward Yu, throwing the gun over the counter before tackling Yu to the ground while police arrived. It's unclear if that is the same Waffle House where Friday's killing took place.

Mount was arrested and charged with first degree murder. He is in custody with a $2 million bond.

The funny part is that the last time I was in a Waffle House over two decades ago... The waitress smoked a cigarette while she served the food.

BTW... It was my last Waffle House visit. Never again.

    2703 Shootings, 440 Deaths Year-To-Date In Heavily Gun-Controlled Chicago

(not that you'll ever hear about it from gun control freaks - they only like to point out when violence is front page media, with preferably white folks committing the crime - TT)

As of November 23, there had been 2703 shootings which resulted in 440 deaths year-to date in heavily gun-controlled Chicago.
That is an increase of approximately 400 shootings over the same time last year.

The Chicago Tribune reported these numbers as part of their broader coverage of the 11 people shot, five killed, over the course of last weekend alone. Half of those wounded were shot on November 22 “between about 12:25 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.” Three of those killed were shot on that same day, between those same hours as well.

It is worth noting that while this violence proves the impotency of gun control in general, it is especially damning when juxtaposed with some of the most recent gun control endeavors in particular.

For example, Chicago implemented a “violence tax” at suburban Cook County gun stores in April 2013. The tax is gathered on each gun and bullet sold within the county. Then, in 2014–the first full calendar year after the implementation of the tax–the Chicago Tribune reported 434 deaths–a 19 death increase over 2013.

Now, as of November 23, the Tribune shows 440 deaths with over a month left to go in calendar year 2015. That means the death toll from gun violence in Chicago through November 2015 has already exceeded the death toll for all of 2014.

It is interesting to note that regardless of the failure of the “violence tax,” the Seattle City Council adopted a similar tax on August 10. As with Chicago, gun crime in Democrat-run Seattle is raging.

And you still can't comprehend why piecemeal local laws don't prevent interstate smuggling.

How many more times are we going to hear this same lame argument from the dumb gun nuts?

Just more proof that conservatives, especially gun nut conservatives are just plain stupid.
