Democrats don't really know what they are for. They just see anything that is bad for the country as a whole must be good policy. For instance: Let's stop the oil drilling Let's regulate CO2 Let's export industry to China Let's block coal power plants Let's block uranium power plants Let's regulate the hell out of small business Let's take money from small business and give it to freeloaders Let's give everybody free healthcare and create some sneaky taxes on workers and business to pay for it. Let's beat down business so unions have the power and employers have no financial incentive to expand or start a business in the U.S. Let's create social security and make everyone pay for it but let's take the money and spend it on something else. Let's get as many people dependent on government payments as possible so we can keep getting re-elected. Let's create a larger poor population for the same reason. Let's make government workers pay and benefits better than the private sector and grow the government. Let's use the U.N. to change the gun laws in the U.S. and circumvent the Constitution. Let's convince everyone that the Constitution is a living document so we can change it's meaning - just like the Bible. Let's grow the economy from the bottom up by giving money to the poor to spend and take it from the rich and the businesses who create the jobs. Let's try and pass so many crazy laws and regulations that business will go into a 'wait and see' mode and stop creating jobs. Let's embellish the country's enemies just to keep everyone confused. Let's promote cultural diversity so we can target favors to certain groups to get their votes. Etc. Etc. Etc.
