It wouldn't suprise me if the board gave perks to mutual fund managers who were heavy investors in PLA... at least before the meltdown
I am looking at the Playboy Enterprises quarterly balance sheet dated 30 June 2008. I notice goodwill and intangible assets represent about 66 % of assets. I do not know how much income goodwill and intangible assets generate, if any. Subtracting them ($ 133 million + $ 148 million) from $ 426 million total assets leaves $ 145 million assets. Total liabilities are about $ 260 million.
