these MLP alerian etf's look like a no lose situation. they are paid via guaranteed fees that are not effected by the price of oil/gas. BUy and hold for a promised return over time: AJM http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site...Mad-ScientistsLatest-Innovation-AJM-82552.cfm
Not ETF's, but ETN's: "These exchange traded notes track the underlying Master Limited Partnership Alerian Index." They are promises from your bookie...JPM
Well, yeah, sure, there are political and structural risks to every trade. however, i am talking about market risk, there does NOT SEEM TO BE any market risk with AJM. its like buying into a tradable annuity no? What am i missing??
Thank you for the info. Did he create these ETN's? I tried sending a PM and Email but it was no accepted. Looks like he hasn't posted on elite for a long time. THese ETN's truly look like zero market risk
Yield is roughly 6.6% Expense fee is 0.85% Real yield ~ 5.75% What a bunch of nonsense. Your better off buying the individual companies.
