GS sued by intern over "hazing" incident

  2. I thought that perhaps the fact that it occurred offsite may diminish the monetary award, but holy shit, he f*cked that poor kid up, and then threatened to have him (and family) killed. I have half a mind to look up the Russian when I am in SF next week. Roid rage and all.

    Stuff like this should not happen anymore. Especially at big companies. We're in the me-too era and HR departments are paranoid. If the intern went to HR a long time ago and had some evidence (e-mail or recorded conversation), he would have at least been removed from the group and placed somewhere else. By the time things got physical, he should have filed a police report for assault. He'll get some award out of this. I assume that the guy who did the assault is no longer at the company or has at least been placed on leave.
