NinjaTrader Brokerage. I have a lifetime license so I'm getting .09 commisshes = .82 round turn with fees. data = $7 / mth. already had a discussion with them about getting it reduced if i meet volume requirements.
for the time being yes, but can change depending on the market conditions. eventually i'll morph to mini's when risk/lot sizing permits.
so far 78 contracts on MNQ but only done that one time. hit 45 and 55 a few times though. it's not always easy to get limit orders filled with that size, so there's always that to take into account.
see above (78) but i likely won't go that high. one trade at a time. that's enough. requires lazer focus.
I see you said you won't go up to 78 again. But lets assume you go to 50. That is like 5 regular E-minis. If you are not scaling in or scaling out, then please consider just doing 5 E-mini's (or fewer) per trade. Why? Because the fees are only 1/2 as much!!! Also, it should be easier for you to get your limit fills I think. Also, there is less change of a technical error with fewer contracts I think. Your account just went from $10k to $17k in 2 weeks. Amazing. I will leave it to you to calculate your annual return there. Totally awesome. But do you need to make this much this fast? Are you in a competition? You are clearly a well-practiced and gifted trader, but the black swan is not dead. Good money management is key, and it looks like between that and your laser focus, you are the real deal. But even the real deal has bad days. I believe in pushing your advantage, but being careful by going a bit slower is my vote. You are my new hero, but I want you to stay alive. I was going to do one E-mini with each $5,000 in my account. In your case, with a $17k balance, this would currently be 3 contracts max at one time (or 30 micros). Just my $.02
