I don't read Jack's posts nor Spyder's journal. For better or worse, I have my own way of doing things. However they BOTH seem like sincerely helpful guys who've spent COUNTLESS hours contributing their time and methods on ET for FREE. Hat's off. In my book, two fine guys......
Pabst, please do me a small favor. Read a few of Jack's posts, beginning to end, and then report back to us on how helpful or useful they might be to anyone. Better yet, just tell me if you understood them.
Thuniderdog, 4 out of 5 people think what I post is bullshit AND they also state that they can't read them. Pabst is in neither group of respondants, the majority or the minority. He is a good reference and resource for anyone since he is an independant guy who is a trader. What you want to consider and, consider most of all, is where you are in the infinite scheme of things. You are a person who is shit out of luck. The short hand expression is SOL. You need to know that you have put yourself in a position where you are not going to be able to use or relate to SCT or PVT. You can't use it because it is not available to you. You can't relate to it because you made a choice to exclude the possibility of your mind considering it and your mind is "fleeing" from it by intention. We know you can't put me on ignore because you ignore the ignore suggestions of guys like Nitro and Maria. I would tell you to ignore me a few more times but I can't communicate to you either. As you say, you feel you are in danger of being ID'ed as being like those whose company you keep. Bad news, you are leading the parade directly away from a resource that is no longer available to you just like they did. Your posts in this thread are important because they make a statement.
Jacks posts have been most useful to me. You - and many others on this board - are smart enough to 'get it'. But don't. Why? Lack of effort. Closed minded. The chasm between Jacks paradigm and your own is not intellectual. Its emotional. Ego. You're not ready to accept the possibility Jack may be right. You recoil at the thought of what that means about Jack. And even more so - what it means about yourself as a trader, in relation to him... As Jack so aptly puts -- most people would rather be right, than rich.
Pabst, did you get all of that? He and his congregation offer you both riches and personal salvation. The only catch is that if you don't adhere to his play book, then you are destined to a life of hellish despair. A tad messianic, wouldn't you say? Black and white. There is no middle ground. Choose your color. Choose your destiny. I note that you have not yet reported back to us with your assessment of a few of His posts. No doubt, your interpreters are still working on it and arguing amongst themselves. Perhaps His posts read more clearly in Aramaic.

Without reading and following enough to be aware of the two individuals through their posts and comments in those posts, there would be no reasonable way to come to the above conclusion and opinions he posted... Of course, if we can agree that Putzie is just talking crap without any real data to reach an informed opinion, then I will take him out of the 20%....
