i have a Garmin on my dashboard, in a holder but i wouldn't buy one again; probably use a smart phone, which i don't yet own marc
I have had a gps on my cell phone for years but I have never used it. I wouldn't mount my cell phone on my windshield so I can see it when I drive. I think it's better to have a dedicated device mounted on the car and used just for that purpose and keep your cell phone in your pocket in case someone calls you.
