It really depends on the climate and where the home is built to determine which (wood versus brick) is more suitable. http://petercalker.articlealley.com/wooden-house-vs-brick-house-53818.html
My house is mostly poured reinforced concrete. Mostly underground with one exterior wall exposed and the rest covered with dirt. Not likely to burn.It qualifies for fire resistant construction.
Hello Lescor, quick question; simple but just want to make sure.. by total volume you mean thats the number of shares you traded (so in and out of 571k shares (so totalk volume is 571+571k); right.. not in and out of 571k/2 shares). Or do you mean the other way? -gariki
In order to make a profit you need both an entry and an exit so it should mean he got in and out of 571k shares.
Total volume means just that- how many shares you traded, period. Includes buys and sells, entries and exits, everything.
Curious how the market is treating you this year. Any better then 2011? How about the guys you trade with? Nothing specific just looking to see how other seasoned vets are fairing in this computer driven market. Personally January was decent. Feb, Mar, and Apr gave back about 1/4 of January profits.
January was ok. Mostly crappy since. Earnings the last week or so showing some promise, but still in a holding pattern and definitely grinding. Most of the guys I chat with are in the same boat. Tough market with brief flashes of hope.
Thanks. Feeling the same about flashes of hope and it seems the market is becoming more tradeable now that it is not going straight up. Time will tell. Good luck.
Hello Lescor, another question: how are you making the volume you are making. Not looking for specifics but in general. Whenever i am trying to increase volume to cover my expenses i am getting creamed out. So going back to sticking to the systems. In your case though, you refer sometimes that a small size in a say 50$ stock is around 300shares. Then you might add another couple more if you dont have a good feel. Trading this small will not give the volume you are trading at.. what does your usual trade size look like (yes; depends on stock price and risk; but generally..). I mean how do you break down the 300-400k shares you do per day on average: 2 or 3 core systems: how many trades? how much stock per trade? You have broken down your profits etc a bunch of times in the posts on this thread; do you mind breaking down your volume a bit.. keeping it general ofcourse. Thanks! -gariki
