Both are an important part of my overall approach.

  2. I saw the infomercial for the first time a few months ago. Would you recommend buying it? Looked interesting.

  3. Austinp: could we just focus on Lescor and his trading?

You're welcome to start your own thread and see what following you can build.

  4. Any advice on teaching oneself not to care about money?

That's the one problem I still have is getting really emotional no matter how many times I tell myself "it's just money."

I either feel really good and get cocky, or get really depressed and get sloppy.

It's a shame when you can craft such wonderful strategies... and strategies that make you 100% ROI in less than a month makes you lose 100% of your account (poor position sizing/money management).

Sorry, I missed your question earlier. Yes, they are all daytraders, trading stocks.

I think P90X is a great program. But any program that has you exercising at a pretty high intensity for 45 minutes to an hour 5 days a week is going to get results if you stick with it.

But it's repetitive, which gets a bit boring. And after 90 days you are done and have to do it again or come up with something new.

I'm huge into CrossFit now. It's more well rounded, building total fitness and athletic ability, not aesthetics, and very very diversified. You could do a different workout every day for a year. I'm 40 years old and have been an athlete my whole life and I'm in the best overall shape I've ever been in.

Here's a post earlier in this thread where I addressed this: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2701121#post2701121

You can't "tell yourself" not to get emotional and make it just happen. You have to train yourself to do it, and that takes time. Sounds like you are simply trading too much size for where you are on the progress curve.

  8. Enraged, the Yaksha killed all the Pandavas, except Yudhistira. He then asked Yudhistira, "What is the greatest wonder of life?" To which Yudhishtira replied, "That every man must one day die, yet every man lives as if they were immortal."

    Hi Lecor,

How many stocks do you usually trade per day? If possible can you name a few for Friday or any other day last week? Also, what is your average wining trade in $ and average losing trade, and win/loss %?
    Thanks a lot

Nice, we've had some Crossfit certified guys come through our strength and conditioning gym lately. Shown me some cool stuff. Great training partners for sure.

Our premise is realy similar to Crossfit, leave bicep curls for the bodybuilders, we get strong and we dont stop until the workout is over.
