Long time lurker on the board, finally decided to reach out. I am a former hedge fund trader now doing it on my own. I focus entirely on REITs, my strategy is a combination of stat arb and fundamentals. That is, I track REIT pairs that correlate highly with each other and when the ratio gets out of whack, and the variance is not explained by fundamentals I bet on them to mean-revert. The time period is strictly day-only. Fundamentals are the key here as my analysis will turn up 30+ potential trades a day but I usually find only 1 or 2 that fit both statistically and fundamentally. I'd love to talk REITs and/or pair trade strategies with others on this board that are active in this area. One question I have for you all - is there any way to do ratio limit orders on IB through either TWS or API? Thanks, RM
